My Dear Mr. Powers May 8th
I have not yet seen the copy of the details, but gave them your name. Am glad if it shows up all right. We have not decided when we will go, have been thinking some of going to get a cottage or house in the White Mountains or some such place. Might finally go west. Wish we could ___ our __ weather. Can you think of anything? Want to try to write a book this summer and still have some fun. I could get along without the book.
Your friend Clarence Darrow
