My dear Clarence,

I thank the great initiate of my destiny that I haven't Roosevelt's job.

As I wish you and Ruby a mentally perfect yule tide, may I caress your Halo

The latch string is still sprawling for you from the front door and I've spoken to the wolf hounds understanding at the back gate —

You've a thousand years to live yet. — So have I — lets not spend them in horror at the beautiful gates of hereafter — Bless you,

Richard Bennett
